About Us

Troop 20 has a long and distinguished history going back to the earliest days in Scouting when founder and first Scoutmaster C. Willis Woodford received the charter on December 8th, 1916. Under the thoughtful leadership of Mr. Woodford, the new Troop;
composed of 12 scouts, began a remarkable journey, leading the National war effort to sell Liberty Bonds, and helping to develop along with the other founding members of the organization, the modern scout program that we enjoy today.

Remarkably, one hundred and three years later, we have proudly re- founded historic Troop 20 and re-dedicate ourselves to its tradition of excellence and the timeless principles found in the Scout Oath and Law.
